Firefly

I was challenged to "design a lamp." This is what I made.

Process

I wanted to make a light that captured the childhood magic of exploring new worlds. I realized that two powerful settings with unique lighting that evoked this feeling are scuba diving and holding a jar of fireflies. After sketching and prototyping, I ultimately chose to design the latter and thus Firefly was born.
